yes, KALX did used to do the maximum rock 'n' roll show. were you ever able to listen to it? i've been away for a couple of years, but i did shows under the names 'anne with an e,' and 'cha cha' usually on weekday afternoons. i'm probably gonna go with annabelle when i'm on again- it's an old nick-name of mine, and the name i always use on line. my husband is Rick Sylvain (we met at kalx)- legendary punk rock d.j. and the person who started 'KALX Live!' on saturday nights. fortunately, anyone can listen to kalx over the internet now ( http://kalx.berkeley.edu), at least for the time being- there's all this crap going on with the digital millenium copy write act (go to http://www.ruf.rice.edu/~willr/cb/sos/ and write your congressman!)

i'll let you (and everyone else) know as soon as i'm on the air again! this may take a few months, though, depending on whether or not the station manager lets me go back on the air right away, or makes me do the required 3 months of non-DJing station work first (there ARE ways of getting around that rule, though...)

i'm not a musician, i just play them on the radio. well, i haven't been on the radio in a while, but i'm gonna be again soon- on KALX in berkeley (cal's radio station, but i've never attended cal a day in my life; most of the dj's there don't go to school there!)
