Im so tired....
I know, I know, im always tired. I have been working lots today though, honestly! Hecticly rushing around Richmond has made me remember again why I want to get out of this country!
Sorry for the late update, unfortunately I ended up working through most of Friday and Saturday. Not best way to spend half of the weekend, but just keep telling myself itll be worth it soon.
Sunday however, was absolutely brilliant
. Went down to try out water ski-ing again. My initial intention was to hide in the corner, helping out, not going anywhere near the water. However, after having my arm twisted by two lovely ladies, I was soon strapped up in a wetsuit, and very ungracefully swaggering around in very big ski's. Anyone who hasn't tried water ski-ing, can I just say you have got to do it... it SO cool !! Managed to get up on the ski's on my second or third attempt, but that was about as good as I got. It looks so easy when you watch, but it's so bloody knackering to do... and boy have I got the bruises and aches to pay for it still too!
After ski'ing, went back to play with cute but mischievous kittens, and then ended up back at the ski club for a bit of late night drinking. The sun setting over the lake had to be one of the best views I think i've ever seen whlst i've lived in Egham. The whole evening was brilliant... food, faeries, friends, music, darts, swimming, and drinking!
Sitting out in the middle of the lake, drinking beer, watching the sky turn black and the stars come out, dreaming, and being with friends.... I dont think my weekend could have ended any more perfectly.
Ok, im gonna actually get some sleep now, as im going to be helping out at the ski club tomorrow !! Cant keep away from the place now!
