What A Weekend!!!
What a great weekend... lots of driving... cool SG friends... and just a really good time & it was nice getting out of Ohio for a weekend. But the big news is... I Got A Job! I start tommorrow... some place called ConAgra Foods in Sidney doing some kind of production work. I'm so excited to have a job again! Its decent pay... and I'll only work Tuesday thru Friday 6:00am - 4:00pm. I'm not a morning person, but these hours are ideal for me... its gonna be rough for me to do stuff during the week, but I gotta make the sacrifice! I'm just happy that I'm gonna be working again... its been so long! As weird as it may sound, I can't wait to start hearing my alarm every morning, going to work & getting a weekly pay check... this is gonna be nice! Thanks to everybody who sent me well wishes... cause it worked!
I spent the entire weekend driving it seems... helping Poe move to Ohio! I drove thru Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland & Virginia on my trip! I left Thursday nite & drove thru the nite & got to Virginia around 9am on Friday! I hit alot of traffic & accidents though... a scary one even where 2 semi's had overturned... didnt look good!
But the drive wasnt bad, I was well rested so I wasn't sleepy or even drifting on the road at all. I hooked up with Poe once I got into Virginia, we just hung out... then we went to a cool costume shop & a record store... then to Taboo (the sex shop that Grey's set was shot in) and I got to meet the lovely dragonflycq, she works there! And we thought we saw Grey too, but I was too shy & Poe didnt want to say hi, but I'm sure it was her! Afterwards, checked into our motel... and napped alittle bit (I hadnt slept for 24 hours at this point)... only slept bout an hour cause one of my other best friends Tryst came to see me. We just chilled outside for a bit... she looked wonderful sporting her black hair... it was so great to see her. I've missed her soooo much!!! Then, collagenrock made it into town with his van... we all just chilled, relaxed for most of the nite. The sweet neonangels came & joined us as well! It was a pretty uneventful nite... but I think we were all pretty tired from the driving, I know I was! On Saturday, checked out of our motel... hit up the library for some internet access, then went over to Tryst's place so that Poe could salvage any of her stuff that was in the basement, was NOT a pretty site... the flooding destroyed just about all her shit which really sucked to see! I went out to eat with Tryst and we just talked & caught up with each other since its been so long... I cant wait to have her out in November now... its gonna be one killer time! Then, we got Poe's cats & headed back to Ohio. Somehow collagenrock got on the wrong interstate at one point & we got separated... I hit up a rest stop for a few hours of zzz's... then caught up with them back at ghosty's, didnt get home till 6am Sunday morning. So after 2000 plus miles of driving... which would probly be like 20 hours on the road... finally made it back to Ohio with Poe & all her stuff, mission accomplished!!! I was exhausted needless to say!!!
Today is my last day off until I go back to work! I'm going costume shopping with Poe, going to hit up Foys in Fairborn... now that place rocks! Then later tonight, hooking up with Lexie & we're all hitting up any costume places we can find in Columbus... then out to Hounddogs for pizza... should be fun, its my last day of not working... I might as well make the most of it & enjoy it!
Next weeked is of course another event filled weekend... we got our Guys Nite Out Version 2.0 going on Friday... but of course everybody is invited. Still not sure what all we're doing... but I think its dinner, either haunted house or bowling or even both, then the strip club! Then Saturday we're off to Pittsburgh for the SG Hell-o-ween party... and Sunday I'm off to Indianapolis for the GENITORTURERS show... I'm gonna be exhausted after all of that... and it rocks that I dont work Mondays... 3 day weekends all the time... hell freaking yeah!!!
