What a Weekend!!!
It was a killer weekend & things just keep getting better! Finally I got my tax refund check today, so I can knock off some bills I've been meaning to pay. I put in my 2 week notice at my job, so yes I'm quitting & yes I have a new job that I will start on June 21st! So tommorrow I'm off half a day to go take my drug test, then I'm going shopping with my MOM. And I just found out that a last minute Columbus get together is being put on by my dear friend kellyjanice, things just keep getting better & better, and I love it!!!
New Job
Yup, so my interview Friday was to offer me the job & get me to take my drug test, which I'm doing tommorrow. I will start my new job on June 21st, working at a place called Kaffenbarger's Trucking Equipment, not sure exactly what I'll be doing yet, but its gonna involve something with their trucking equipment they ship overseas. I'm so excited, the pay is really, reallly good, great benefits, air conditioning, & the exact same hours of the job I'm currently at. I think this is like the perfect job for me!
Punk Nite
It was a blast! The show on Friday was just okay, but we made the best out of it. Late start & long sets didnt help the cause any, but what can you do ya know? But Eko-Tox, Prophets of a Downfall, AKA, Race 101 + FBS all put on decent sets, but I don't think I was all into much of the music that nite. However, I was into hanging with all my SG peeps who came out, that included: kelllyjanice, vectrexxx, whatshisnuts, StephanieSays, notanemoboy & peachygrrl, plus we met this cool ass chick who wasn't even on the site that was hanging out with us most of the nite, good times for sure!

Saturday's Punk Nite show was killer, and the club was packed to capacity as expected! It was Legbone's CD release party, and pretty much just a big punk rawk party. Killer sets from The Story Changes, Children Of Reagan, A Planet For Texas, The Indigents, & of course Legbone who had the mosh pit moving full throttle. Great show!!! I even met norritt who came out for the show, cool guy & damn this dude can draw. He showed me some of his work, impressive to say the least! Definitely, lots of good times were had over the weekend, and I even made some nice cash from the shows as well.
It was definitely a fun weekend, and I so need more of these in the future!!!
