Update!!!
Alright, so I'm gonna try to start updating this thing on alittle bit more of a regular basis, just cause my updates tend to get alittle bit long winded, but I guess thats what happens when you're out living life. Plus, when you only update once a week & you're as busy as I am, you have alot to say! Well, at least I have alot to say. I'm sure not everybody reads thru my entire journals, but I don't mind that cause I know they can get a bit long. But I'm gonna try my hardest now to update alittle more regularly!
Weekend was pretty good actually, kinda uneventful compared to my past 2 weekends, but it was a nice change. Even though I was bored out of my mind at times! This past Saturday nite went to Elbo's in Dayton & caught Legbone's CD release party, it was great! I think Legbone stole the show from The Independents, who I really didn't care for. It was good to see that whatshisnuts, nenia & vectrexxx all made it out to the show! It seems like I'm running into these peeps almost every weekend, and thats a good thing! We hung out @ Elbo's for most of the show, then during The Independents set we shot over to 1470 West to see what was going on there. It was the last nite 14's was gonna be open, and it was more packed than I had ever in my life seen that club. It was wall to wall people, so we basically paid $6 to get in walk around & then leave after about a half hour cause it was just too crowded & insane for us. But all in all, it was a good nite! Other than Saturday nite, I really didn't do much for my 4 day weekend but just chill & relax, although I was bored alot of the time, its nice to have these kinds of weekends every once in awhile. But I'm definitely NOT looking forward to going back to work tommorrow!
So if things go well, I should be starting a new job within a month, if not sooner. I have a phone interview to do on Tuesday which will probably get the hiring process off the ground, will have to do a drug test & what not & will still have to give my current employer notice so that I make sure I get paid my unused vacation. Which I still have about 56 hours of I believe! But I'm hoping they don't want me to start till at least July, otherwise I may end up missing the SGB show in Cleveland, cause its on a Sunday. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed! If its sooner than that, I guess I'll just have to settle for going to the SGB shows in Detroit + Newport,KY... but I really wanna go to the Cleveland show so I just hope things work out! Hell, maybe I'll ask & tell them I've had plans or something? I don't know, we'll see I guess! But even though I'm gonna lose my 3 weeks paid vacaction which sucks, I'm gonna be making like $3 - $4 more an hour, so I just couldn't pass this up. I'll keep ya updated on this whole scenario!
I bought my ticket for Cedar Point this past weekend, so I'm definitely looking forward to that weekend now!!!
Next weekend is Punk Nite weekend:
I'm hoping I'll see some of you out for one nite, or the other. I believe some SG peeps like kellyjanice, xyla, & whatshisnuts are coming out for the Friday nite show, so I can't wait to see you all. Plus, the Troy Strawberry Festival is the same weekend so our lil town of Troy will be hoppin' with stuff to do. I'll post info & directions within the week though, or just hit me up thru my journal if you need info! And the Saturday show is Legbone's CD release party in Troy, this show is gonna be packed & just killer & should NOT be missed if at all possible! And if you come to one of these shows, come to the Punk Nite merch, and I'll hook ya up with some free Punk Nite stickers & pins. So spread the word, I'd love to see some of ya out here next weekend!!!
