Life is Good!!!
No work Friday or Monday, so I have myself a nice long 4 day weekend, and that just rocks!!! I can't even put into words how much better my life has been getting over the course of the last week, so I'm doing excellent. And even though I don't have as much planned this weekend as I have the last few weekends, its still gonna be a pretty fun weekend. On Saturday, I'm hoping to hook up with whatshisnuts & nenia & check out Legbone's CD release party @ Elbo's in Dayton, they are opening up for The Independents, so it should be a rockin' show! Then after that show, we're hoping to shoot over to 1470 West to catch the last few hours that the club is open, since they will be having goth nite & be open till 4am. But yeah, should be a good time!!!
So it looks like I have a new job nailed down & I think is a major part why I'm doing so good as of late! I had an interview with this company on Wednesday, went super well & was told I pretty much have the job! I'll be making alot more than I was where I'm currently working so I'm super stoked about that! I don't know all the details yet, but I'm supposed to do a phone interview with them on Tuesday, and then they will be starting the hiring process within the next few weeks. So I'm guessing within the next month, I will have a new job. I am so happy & excited!!!
Last weekend was just killer, actually had to give myself a few days which is why I haven't updated until now. But last Friday, saw Legbone play @ 1470 West in Datyon, good show & I saw alot of my buddies I hadn't seen in awhile so that was good. Lots of people were out & about at the club having a good time, always a good site to see here in Dayton!
On Saturday, hit the road for the SG Afterprom Party in Clevleand, but first went to Detroit to pick up SG Kira, then down to Toledo to pick up my buddy doctashock. I think we hit the road by around 3:30pm & got to the hotel in Cleveland right around 5:30pm. We actually arrived at the hotel the exact same time that kevykev, urnes, NicoleLee, Alisa & Two all did! We all got our rooms & just chilled out, maxin & relaxin. We had super nice rooms that had a killer hot tub, it was totally pimpin' style! Jade showed up shortly after we got our rooms, she's a real cutie! Micah showed up & chilled with us for most of the nite! We got a cab & headed to the club around 10ish, and were joined by Destro, whatshisnuts, & nenia. We got to the club, got our wristband & got in for free, and the club was already hoppin. I finally got to meet Rosis for the 1st time after talking to her a bit thru the site, also good seeing my buddy vectrexxx who made a last minute decision to come out. It was great seeing so many people from the site come out. I got to meet SG's Lorelei & Fleur, as well as Madison who I had met the week before! All the SG's got the royal treatment with free drinks all nite long & the hook up thanks to kevykev!!! It was good seeing MistressMissy, Stirfry, Gemini, burstandbloom & his sister Julie, Loe, Seven_C4, among the many others that I'm sure I've missed. The party was lots of drinkin, lots of dancin' & just a really good time! Afterwards, alot of us headed back to the hotel for some more partying. In our room, Rosis made use of our hot tub, and following alittle strip tease from her the hot tub was in good use. She was then joined by Micah, and then vectrexxx & finally MistressMissy, good times were had!!! The rest of us just chilled & watched, which was definitely NOT a bad thing! Things finally winded down & I think we finally got to bed around 5am.
We slept in on Sunday, up around 11ish I believe to shower & check out before noon. Some people had already split, but we said our goodbyes to those that hadn't! We hung around the hotel forever it seemed till everybody with us was ready, then off to Stirfry's pink house, just chilled out with Stirfry, Kira, doctashock, vectrexxx MistressMissy & gemini (who was still asleep). Later that day we had a nice bbq, that was cool! Then, doctashock, vectrexxx & me went to see GWAR @ The Odeon, good show & we were soaked by that fake blood shit. It was great!!! We all had a fun time!!! Then back to the pink house for more maxin' & relaxin. We crashed there & got up in the morning so I could take everybody back home. What a weekend is all I can say!!!
Its definitely these kinds of weekends that make me proud to be part of SG! All the cool people you meet, and of course all the cool aftermath pics that pop up all over after an event like this. Good times for sure & looks like another party is gonna happen in September, I'll be there for sure! And big props & thanks go out to kevykev, urnes & MistressMissy for putting this event together. I look forward to next month for Cedar Point Version 2.0 + Pink House Party 4, SGB shows + PHP 5, more good times will be had. I can't wait!!!
