What a killer weekend, and I don't want it to end! But alas, all good things must come to an end! But there is tons more where they came from as just about every single weekend thru June is packed with stuff going on, I'm excited!
So this past weekend I met up with whatshisnuts & nenia on Friday & we drove up to Cleveland & caught the Mushroomhead, Mindless Self Indulgence, Genitorturers, + Dope show @ the Scene. Needless to say, it was killer! Genitorturers kicked my ass again, and it was alittle different than the show I saw in Cincy last Sunday, which was cool! I was super happy that they played both 120 Minutes & Sin City, which are probably my 2 favorite songs by them! I saw a chick fight in the pit which was amusing! MSI were killer as I expected them to be, heard all the songs I wanted to which ruled! And at one point, Jimmy Urine was running around the whole audience & then stopped & hugged nenia, it was a classic moment! Some girls came up to her after that & gave her a high 5, it was too cool! Wish we could have got a pic of that! But I think it definitely put a smile on nenia's face! We also ran into SG Madison, she was super sweet & nice! We hung out & chatted a bit while they changed sets, that was really cool! We all got hugs from her which ruled & made all our nites! We didn't stay for Mushroomhead, just part of their set! Not really too into them actually, but Ryan Dunne from Viva La Bam was there & did a double stagedive with one of the guys from the band, it was rad! On our way out, we met the Genitorturers, all super rad people! And Gen just rules! We got our DVD's signed by them which was cool! And some pics were taken too! That totally topped our nite! Then, we hooked up with burstandbloom & got our grub on. He helped pop our IHOP cherry actually, and it was yummy! We crashed with him that nite which was super cool of him to let us do. We left early afternoon & headed back to Columbus, dropped nenia off, switched cars, then headed to Cincinnati for Pepsi's Jammin On Main event, it rocked but was too damn cold! So we caught some bands, ate some food which was cool. We moved our way up close to the front to see theSTART who were just awesome! They ruled & I was totally blown away by them! The band was super fun & energetic & just having a great time, it was wonderful to see! Then, Auf Der Maur, she just ruled!!! People were being shitty thru her set though which sucked, but I guess that happens. But she was beautiful & just amazing live, I wish we would have met her. Anyways, after her set, we struggled our way away from the stage, it was packed from people waiting to see The Offspring! We kinda chilled, & ran into Aimee Echo & Jaime from theSTART, both super nice people & they both signed our cd's! We chilled alittle while longer in hopes that Auf Der Maur would come out, but to no avail! So we decided to hit the road & get out of the cold & beat the traffic, which we did! It was just a great weekend all around, and I had a total blast!!!

1) maybe I'm just getting old, but I would rather enjoy hearing the band then haveing to deal with people in the pit.
2) hmmm........ not really any one band in particular.
3) I haven't met anyone new recently, but I've met Dragonflycq, Tryst( briefly), dkmfc, _V_, Grey, feckweed, and angelfrost, whom I now live with and want to have his babies.
They also have lots of really cool ones, too. And beaches. And damned near every house has a pool. I have mad respect for that.
