Rockin!!!
Well today I actually dragged myself away from my computer & went out & did alittle shopping. It was definitelyl well needed, hadn't been out shopping in awhile! I went to a local book store & picked up some magazines, Rockrgrl & Alternative Press. And Rockrgrl even has Jessicka (Scarling, Jack Off Jill) on the cover which is cool! She looks alot different from the last time I saw her. Does anybody know when the new album from her new band Scarling comes out? I can't wait to get it! Then, I went to the mall & got me a nice Texas Chainsaw Massacre shirt. It rocks!!! And then, went over to Best Buy & picked up the new Courtney Love, Yeah Yeah Yeahs & the Probot cd. I've only listened to some of the Courtney Love album, but what I've heard I really like! I can't wait to give this disc a spin all the way thru, sounds like its alittle heavier & edgier than Hole was, just my initial thought though. And I also picked up Stand By Me on dvd. That movie rocks!!! And now I'm home updating my journal & watching Stand By Me!
Work sucks, but whats new!!! Too much overtime is killing me & burning me out, but I guess thats nothing new. Plus, I found out that if I make it till March 12th without being late or missing a day, I'll get an extra vacation day cause I'll have perfect attendance for 6 months. But, the way things are going, not sure I'm gonna make it, but I sure am gonna try! And I hate having to be at work at 6am! It doesn't help that I procrastinate when it comes to going to bed as I really can't force myself to go to bed any earlier than 12midnight, so I usually only get 5 - 6 hours of sleep a night. Its my own fault though, cause I'm always trying to do something & stay busy. I just can't stand not doing something ya know? But, work this week is busy, going in at 6am all week, plus probably working Saturday too. And that sucks cause I have the Suicide Girls Burlesque show on Saturday, but oh well, I'll just be alittle tired!
So yeah, the SG Burlesque show is this Saturday Feb. 14th (Valentine's Day) @ Little Brothers in Columbus. I cannot wait! A few of us SG peeps are getting together @ Magnolias record store on High Street around 5:30-6ish if anybody is up for it! We're just gonna hang out, record shop, maybe get something to eat & then head to the show. And I have a really cool Valentine's idea that I'm gonna do for the SG's on the tour, so that should be cool. I'm so excited! I can't wait to meet everybody!!!
