What an amazing weekend!
I had such a blast over the past few days that I had to call off work today just to get some rest & chill out a bit from all the excitement I had over the past weekend. Lots of fun was had... lots of driving we did (probly drove a good 1500 miles this weekend) .. and just a good time all around. So I thought I would give the recap on what happened this weekend.
I picked up my friend Sonny & we hit the road for Richmond,VA around 1am on Thursday night / early Friday morning, whichever you wanna call it. I drove thru the night trying to make the 9 - 10 hour drive to Richmond on only 2 hours of sleep... but it wasn't happening. I got super sleepy come around 8am on Friday & started swerving a bit on the road & then we hit a rest area for a power nap that was well needed.
We finally got to my dear friends Tryst + Raquel's apartment around 12noon on Friday... but they had stepped out to get some McDonalds... but they showed up shortly after we got there. So we hung out in their cool apartment as it was hot + humid as balls in Richmond. We chit chatted... listened to the funny tapes they had made about their encounter with a Christian missionary & another one about how guys suck (these were hilarious!!!).... and I gave the girls Tori Amos tickets which I'm pretty sure they liked!!! It was a good time just chillin + relaxin. Then, Tryst had some errands to run & had to take Raquel to work so she borrowed my car & I stayed at her place & got some well needed sleep. I slept a few hours so I was happy about that as I was going on literally hardly any sleep in the last 2 days. Then, around 5ish... we headed to Ruby Tuesdays to see Raquel at work & get some discounts on food. We ended up drinking these HUGE drinks called megaritas that were so big, that you can only get one. And I treated everybody to a kick ass meal as well. It was super good... and by the time I was done drinking my blue lagoon megarita... I was VERY buzzed to say the least! It was quite funny actually! It was really cool having Raquel be our waitress as I was able to leave her a really nice tip. Afterwards, Sonny, Tryst & myself headed to Carrytown & walked around over there before we headed back to her house for some more relaxin' & chillin.' It was definitely a good time!!! I think we crashed out around 2am as I was still exhausted from everything... and I think Tryst & I fell asleep while chit chatting that night. Ah well.. good times for sure!!!
We were up kinda early on Saturday & went to the St. James River in hopes of doing some swimming since it was so hott! No luck! The water was too high due to all the rain Richmond had got over the last few days. Damn rain! Then, we went to another river that I can't remember the name of & me, Tryst + Raquel all got into the water... but got in trouble as we weren't supposed to get in as the water was too high. At least we got in for alittle bit & were able to get wet. It felt great!!! It was an amazing day & it was super nice walking the trails & seeing the water & even getting ourselves wet here & there. It was super fun. Then, we headed off & took Raquel to work in which we all chilled for a drink w/ her before I had to say goodbye. It was a blast for sure. Then, took Tryst back to her place & then Sonny & I were off for Baltimore,MD.
We ended up @ The Sidebar in Baltimore around 8pm on Saturday night.Pefect timing since Girlush Figure was playing @ 9pm that night We went inside & got our wristbands & saw Squeaky right there which was cool. Then, briefly met Girlush Figure's new drummer Rita Mae who I had met on a few of my various trips to Baltimore in the past.So we walked around a bit... got some grub & back to the club to catch the show. The show itself was great! Lots of people there to catch the debut of Rita Mae on drums for Girlush Figure. She has super fast hands & could tell she was definitely nervous. I heard a few mess ups in the set... but that was to be expected. She definitely has alot of potential so I guess time will only tell. So we hung out the rest of the night & just checked out everything & chilled w/ the GF girls. It was a good time!
We ended up crashing at the new GFHQ which is a super nice & kick ass house. They even have a KISS guestroom. Its awesome!!! And they have a statue of Jesus that is painted like Gene Simmons from KISS in which we call Jesus Simmons. Too cool! The whole house just rocks!!! It was nice being able to stay at the GFHQ & chill out w/ the girls while we were in Baltimore. Good times again!!!

2. Lots (and I mean lots) of personalized license plates in Richmond,VA
3. Rita Mae, Girlush Figure's new drummer is super hott... but a devoted Catholic & lesbian
4. Lots of broken down cars on the way to Baltimore via Washington DC
5. Tryst + her roomie Raquel are 2 of the hottest, coolest, radest girls you can hang out with

i got a job so i'm hoping that i might still be able to hitch that ride with you to cedar point but i'm not going to hold my breath that really can really afford to blow all that money on just a day at an amusement park. but i so want to. really bad, esp so i can finally meet you guys.
