My first SGSeattle Karaoke night went off without a hitch. Roxy and I sang Love Shack!!

I met a bunch of new people, and it was a really good time.

Trading stories is always fun.

I was really looking forward to meeting a few more SG members tonight, and I didn't realize that 11th between Pike & Pine is Capitol Hill, and not downtown.

*sigh*

I'd drive, if I hadn't indulged in a few too many drinks at McMenamin's after the movie.

Tonight should be good. Jules & I are hosting a pajama party. *laugh*

At first we weren't sure how many people were going to show up, but now we have confirmations for close to 25 people.

Tonight I'm heading to the SGSeattle party, then off to the Merc with friends.

We spent 6 hours at the Bellevue Toys R Us today collecting toys for the Treehouse Foundation.

Last year we collected $850.00 worth of toys. Three big bags that fit into the back of my car.

This year, we collected $5,169.00 (estimated retail value). 17 shopping carts full. 3 truckloads. I don't know how many bags full. It was amazing.

One gentleman donated $925.00 alone....

Halloween in Vegas was THE COOLEST.

We had our new pirate costumes and hit the Convention, then headed out to the strip!

The convention itself kinda sucked, but we made the best of it.

The highlight of the trip was heading down to Treasure Island and having some of the guests (and staff!) say that we made better pirates than the folks in the show....

I haven't been to one of these since 1997. *gasp*

I'm going as Lab Coat Frank, and Julie's going as the plain jane Bra & Slip Janet.

I tried to talk her into doing either Corset & Boa Janet from the end, or Magenta, but she wasn't having any of it. *laugh*
