Hello SG citizens,

I hope this finds everyone well and good and enjoying the summer.

Im going through a good time, a transitional time but a good one.

Long story short: I now have no job and have been spending my days writing. Yes, its bliss. Yes, its unsustainable. We'll just have to see how things go before I completely break myself. I have my new house savings to ride for a while - we'll see how far it takes me.

For now, though, I live in freaky creative bliss. This is all I have ever wanted and even my projected three weeks of it rock the booty.

I want to go to Florida for a while, bring my laptop and hang out in the sun. More details on this as it develops in my mind.

Otherwise I have very little news. I hang out, see some friends and my sister, take care of my cats and write.



So I need to get to work - this has been a lovely warm up but worlds beyond this call. I'll hit up journals tonight. Wish me luck.

Taoist thought of the day: Do not obsess over the quality of your food and air.

Cat Report: I have cut their rations way down and now I have cats again, not carpet muffins. I guess these are the things you learn when you have your first pets - if you leave the food bowl full at all times they will graze all day long.

Factoid: My first comic book love was Jonah Hex. I think that rooting for the anti-hero during my long adolescence really shaped my tastes for fiction, specifically action.
