Well we are mostly out of the woods. Looks like the doctors got all the cancer out and the missus is feeling better every day. This is fantastic.
Of course, it cost us an arm and a leg, and between medical bills, my new tires and Christmas I'm utterly and completely broke. This is a drag - the kind of drag I am so, so thankful for.

Pet Report: Bacchus the dog got a new squeaky toy for Christmas. You can't tell that fool anything now. Runs around squeaking joyfully night and day. Vindaloo the cat was left alone for 24 cold hours during the holidays, so I'm giving her all the attention I can for as long as she can handle it - usually five minute increments.
