Hey SG folks,
I hope this transmission finds you all well and good.
So I got another cat. After 32 years of being pet-less, I am now the proud owner of two cats, Fresh and Alice. As soon as I had the one I kept hearing the same thing from cat friends over and over "get another one for Fresh to play with. He'll be happier." BG really wanted one so . . . so now we have Alice. She is really BG's cat who lives with me but functionally there is no difference.
And what's it like with two kittens in the house? Well, I wrote for fourty minutes yesterday with a cat on each shoulder.
We are still working on the litter box thing but so far they have been fun and not all that much trouble. Watch this space for updates.
One thing I may never get used to is their intrest in my sex life. Cat folks, can I get a wittness? These two are enquiring minds - they want to know.
So everything else is good. Writing is going slow, one more week until I'm late making my deadline (I will be). Hope all are well.

hey man -- how ya doin'? i've been away for awhile. hope everything's goin' well. speaking of cats, by the way -- i have three and you're right -- they're very interested in your sex life -- dude, it's all they talk about 
i've realize that my cats can't stand it when i try to do crazy things like... sleep at night -- oh man, they hate that -- i swear, they treat it like we're in a car going cross-country and i'm driving -- whenever i'm about to fall asleep, i can always count on one of 'em to paw at me or walk across my chest or meow in my ear. yep, it's goodtimes...
