I didn't find out Dio passed away until right before our gig on Sunday. We were planning on playing Stand Up and Shout didn't even know. Finding out he passed away put Bertrand (guitarist/vox) and me in a kind of somber mood. After the show, we went up to his land with my friend Jessi. I smoked too much grass there. I was having fun, but I could tell Bertrand was depressed. Dio was a hero to him. It's going to take awhile for him to cope... In the meantime, I'm hoping I found all those damn wood ticks!
