Today is National Record Store Day here in Canada. All the record/CD stores had sales on, lots of munchies, and several had performers. Lots of fun, I usually haunt used record/CD stores almost every weekend! here is haul for today..,
A good representation of some of the music I like.
This will bring my collection to 930 albums, about 13,000 songs. Here is where I keep them ...
They are now full, so I had to use overflow storage. This is where I keep jazz CDs...
I prefer having the physical CDs to downloading, because the music files are uncompressed, and is is generally cheaper, especially if you buy used. I also like the joy of the hunt. Nothing like hunting through bins and discovering something new (or old!).

@adelina yes, it is alphabetical by artist, also broken down by major categories - jazz, classical, soundtracks, everything else (rock, folk, electronic, psychedelic, alternative, punk, ...)

@adelina it seems like a lot, but I have been on other sites where guys compare the size of their ... music collections. The record holder had 300,000 songs. It would be impossible to have listened to all that, I think some people collect just for the sake of collecting.
