For the first time ever, I am really hating going to work. I have had a great career, but lately things just seem to have come to a dead end. The area of the business I am in has been challenged for a while, and it has become a lot worse lately with the crash in oil prices (I am in the oil business). The talk is all negative, about cost cuts, job cuts, challenging everything, etc. I am not looking forward to the next few months, as I am going to have to make some hard choices about people in my team, as to dismantle things I have worked hard to build up. This is taking over my thoughts, I am having a hard time sleeping, and so on. I am trying hard not to think about this when away from work, and find other, positive things to do and think about. I hope I will be through this soon, and can look forward to a more positive atmosphere. If not, I may start looking in other areas of the business.
