Have you ever wished you could move at will in and out of an alternate universe? I have been wishing this more and more as I grow ever closer with a very special woman. We are both in good relationships that we do not want to harm, yet we find ourselves spending a lot of time together.
She recently returned from a long vacation. Everyday I wrote something down about how I felt about her. I was doing it for myself but found I had to share it with her when she returned. She giggled like a little girl as she read what I had wrote. I couldn't have wished for a better reaction! One of the things I wrote about was my wish for an alternate universe. She looked at me when she read it and said that she did too. Sigh!

@adelina Oops - I once gave a toaster for a gift to my girlfriend. I am no longer so clueless, I hope.

Well, the frying pan and toaster are gifts that I still use to this day-- so maybe I was wrong in being disappointed about them. They've proven to be gifts that have stood the test of time.
