So I was this weekend was never gonna end, but thankfully for my health it did.
Friday, we started out by seeing Louis C.K. at the State Theatre here in Minnesota. It was fucking hilarious with all new material. Then we walked around Minneapolis to The Shout House ( a bar with dueling Pianos) for my friends birthday, it was all fine and good till he got kicked out and we had to spilt, but thankfully there were a couple after parties to entertain us.
Saturday night we did a proper pub crawl, we did Donnie Dirks Zombie Den, then to Nye Polonase room ( an old bar restruant that featjures polka, weird but fun) and we hit up a few other places.
And then on sunday I stopped drinking long enough to see the Social Network which is one of the best movies of the year, which is not surprising considering it was directed by Fincher, written by Sorkin and with music by Reznor. It was amazing and I need to see it again. Then went back Minneapoils to see the Eels play First Ave. it was my first time seeing them live and it fucking rocked.
