Update: Who has four tickets to the Red Hot Chili Pepper's / Weezer show in Vegas for the city's 100th birthday?
Me. Boo-yah.
-----------------
Yarg, the bass is done! It sounds incredible. There is a little bit of buzzing on the second string, first fret, because the tuning peg doesnt quit pull the string down at an angle. First string is OK, and the string retainer takes care of three and four, but number two has issues. Im hoping that most of it is the fact that the frets and strings are brand new. Did I mention how awesome it sounds? OMIGAWDS!!11```one. Ill take a decent picture later, though it wont be much different than the last one, except it has strings on it and a string retainer on the headstock.
6:48am on a week day, you ask? Yes, I woke up early.
infernorecords07 and her small army of animals (three cats, two snakes, one mouse) are staying here at Fort Punk until their housing crisis is resolved. One of the cats has adopted my desk chair as his own, and just gave me a funny look because I was sitting in it instead of him.
Not much else. Friends and beer Friday night, more friends and more beer Saturday night, and we watched The Village last night. I got a little bit of work done, so Im happy about that. Glad to be back at work, though. Strange. Im still not used to having a job that I love going to.
Thats about it, kids.
