Journal update!
Im still part-time at the shop, but I added two hours to my normal schedule per day. The shop didnt want the extra full-time overhead, so we agreed that Id stay until 12:30 unless the shop was busy and needed me to stay longer.
Ive been keeping busy with some freelance work on the side. I might end up doing some work with beans company, if he likes what I did with his sample-thing.
I applied for a bunch of jobs on MondayI havent heard anything back, which figures. Ill give them until the end of the week before I consider myself given an official fuck off.
Got a call from Voight Technical Groupthey want me to do tech support for $10-15 an hour. I didnt spend almost $50,000 on a college education to end up in a dead-end tech support job; doubt theyll be getting a call back.
I need to move my bed or desk aroundsomething. Not having much room to navigate between my bed, desk, and office chair is starting to get to me after three years. The new chair is a little bit bigger than the old one, so one of the arms has been hitting the desk and making little gouges.
I dont mean to get you too excited.
Im going to finish the bass this week if it kills me. Dead, even.
