Readers of my previous journal entry will note that last week I broke my drivers side mirror off.
Today, someone broke the other one off for me. She got a little too close on the highway; she wasnt watching where she was going and tried to merge into the same spot I was in. This presents a problem, because according to physics, two solid entities cannot occupy the same space at the same time. Thus it was that she smacked into me, and blew my mirror clean off of my passenger side door.
I told her not to worry about it, since I was getting new mirrors soon anyway. I spent about fifteen minutes in the rain applying superglue and putting the thing back together for the ride home. Superglue is awesome.
In other car news, the control arm bushings that Ive been looking for are fucking expensive in town. Two Dodge dealerships and one Napa quoted me roughly $7-10 for the front bushings, and $15-22 for the rearroughly $60 for four pieces of rubber and a couple of steel tubes? Fuck you! I found an entire bushing replacement kit that includes all of the lower-end control arm-related bushings for $30 online.
Get this: our apartment complex manager is such a she-bitch that she wont give us one extra day to pay the rent because our room mate is 1300 miles north/west in Washington. Hes not in the same state, you devil-whore.
Thats my day, so far! Im going to watch the rest of the Empire Strikes Back DVD and then Return of the Jedi.
I might take a nap.
