I was heading north on Central 7th St and saw the best sign ever: Gay Johnnys Antiques. Apparently theres a gay man, named Johnny, who runs an antique store on Central Avenue 7th Street. Best. Sign. Ever.
Im selling my Nokia 6101, check it out. If youre so inclined, buy it! Sold in 2 hours 25 minutes. Awesome!
I picked up a Motorola V360 and I love it. It has all kinds of fun features that Im still playing with. The thing I like the most being the technophile that I am is the fact that the phone uses a removable super-mini-SD flash memory called TransFlash.
I finally took a picture of my Fender Jazz bass after I made some modifications to it:
I added some Bartolini 9J1LS passive pickups and a Leo Quan Badass II bridge to it. She sounds really nice. I also (finally) sanded the body that was part of the bass I had stolen from my apartment a while back. Since the fuckers who stole it ruined the finish, I decided to try something different. Im going to stain it blue, shellac it, and then put a polyurethane finish on top of that. It should give the finish quite a bit of depth. I hope it turns out well.
I think thats about it. There isnt too much else going on that isnt above and beyond the normal around here. Im working 10-12 hours most days, but getting paid much better thanks to the raise. I cant wait to move into my new place. I got to see one of the finished models the other week and theyre nice.
