these are a few of my favourite things...

*Fort was a shit load of fun. The drummer, Deon, is like some sort of twisted love child of Dave Grohl and Brann Dailor from Mastodon. Kudos, sir.

*The gig on Friday went well enough, a few hiccups aside. Duncan from Meniscus joined the band on congas for an open jam in the middle of The River which was fun. Once the finances are in order we're going to start work on getting an EP out there.

*Watched The Descent and enjoyed it as much as one can when in need of sleep.

*Hung out with TheFuckOffKid, deadforhours and JessykaAddams on Sunday. Chicken skewers were the greatest idea ever. We watched the Australian Idol fireworks and pissed ourselves laughing at an Engrish book.

*Saw Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan today and enjoyed it. Not as side splittingly funny as one would hope, although the preview got such a work out some of the better jokes were already out of the bag for me.

*People in Sydney; do you have any furniture you don't want anymore? Let me know, please.
