I've had a busy last couple days, but it only took H.D. Thoreau one nite.

the Nazis, Japanese, British all tried it w/ miliatry might, Americans try it w/ corporate and economic might. i wonder which kills more people?

jail isnt supposed to be a summer camp run by rookie cops counselors.

starbucks is supposed to be trashed, not full of trash who then turn about face and scream anti-bush obscenities.

do i miss my intellectual elitist attitude that i had oh so subtley cultivated throughout college?

sometimes i wish i could trade places w/ this other person, but for the most absurd (or is it?) reasons. what does this mean about me?

i need a quick break from nyc. something within 2-4 hours of nyc. any suggestions?

hey there. glad my journals take you home a bit. that makes me feel not quite so silly for writing them. wink

i'd love to hear more about the protest stuff. most of what i got out of the trib was that there was some shit (sort of just arresting groups on the people, some arrests for not doing much of anything), but that for the most part the nypd was being good and things at the holding cells going smoothly. i'd really like to hear more about what went down - when ya get the chance.
