i nearly sliced my finger off trying to cut an onion. suffice to say, the onion got the beating of a lifetime in retribution
as an "asian american" and specifically a korean-american, we are a lost generation of forever alien. neither here nor there, and quite unsure of anywhere. its a constant struggle of east and west, individual vs family...but i will say this, unfortunately: i am bound by centuries, milleniums, generations of filial piety and to be quite honest...it blows

I cut the shit out of my finger slicing bread a few weeks ago, right on the knuckle, nearly passed out trying to get it to stop bleeding. No the scar tissue is thick and it hurts every time I bend it. Such is life.
