The heavens opened and rain pours down trying to cleanse our filthy man-made surfaces. In the midst of all these natural acts, I found my voice temporarily. I have become one of them, lost in their apocalyptic madness. Speaking to the dead, speaking about a losing battle.

Its funny how the zombies arise from their restless stupor and travel to their frivolous jobs that drain their souls. Work in cubicles shaped like swastikas, living in fear and disdain of their superiors in upper management. Then, only to try to return to their isolation cells as quickly as possible. The only path from point A to point B and back again is a straight line these days. Countless seers have told us, warned us about the importance of the journey. We will never learn and it will be our unfortunate loss.

Of work, to paraphrase another, find something you love and you will never work a day in your life.

Sorry, I dont have time.
I have to get home.
I dont have money.
I cant right now.
I dont have a job.
Sorry.
I dont care.
I wish I could help but I cant.
Im late to my appointment.
Im in a hurry.
Sorry.

Even doing good is taintedsuch is the curse of man. Superficial measurements bring more results. My name is Pumpkineater and Im a paid fundraiser for non profit organizations. I raise money for Oxfam, Plan, and the North Shore Animal League so that they dont need to from corporations and governments. But I work at a disadvantage because of my heritage. But men circle like vultures around women they prey upon. Its a sick and perverse game, all of this.

The secret lives of our decaying society crumbles with every rotten breathe, with every passing moment. Where is the pay off? The reward? At every turn we continue to destroy. Mankind is at her best when we create. But now there is no creation. Everything is a rerun. Everything is being taken apart.

Its past due date. Its past time to awake. To finally take a deep breathe. Weve been holding it too long. Weve forgotten what its like to breathe. Look up, like when you are deep under water and see the light reflecting onto the surface of the water. To stop and see. To feel our senses alive. Our prescribed medication needs to wear off, and the haze needs to clear. When you actually feel, you will know you are alive. When you feel the pain, then youll know that you are here. Look around and grab the hand of the one right of you, the one with the dull numb eyeslook to your left and grab the hand of the one with the wild fierce eyes and pull each other up to the surface.

Do you care that every ___ a ___ is dying?
Do you know that for every ___ there is ___?
____ ___ _____ __ ___ ____ ____ __ _______ __?
You can help, all it takes is ___ from you to ____ for another.

Citizen of the world, who and where are you?
