Let me just say that MY Skinny Puppy DVD throwing party was a TOTAL success. (I'm sorry for KyleOmen, but that's how it works.) Now, let me just explain how the whole thing was perfect.
First off, there WAS sound to go with the projection, so, there, you already have something promising right here. Second, the DVD was filmed only during the Toronto and Montreal shows, and I can say that the majority was filmed in Montreal, which is a good thing, considering that I was there during the show in Montreal, so seeing the dvd just reminds me of the absolutely great show it was. Afterwards, I can proudly say that we were at the front of the stage, and that once or twice, we can actually see my boyfriend in the crowd, which means that he his part of some Skinny Puppy footage, which I find to be really something. And last but not least, there was a giveaway contest where people won by answering questions about the band. Of course, there were major fans that knew everything about the old Skinny Puppy. But knowing things about GWOTR wasn't so popular, and my boyfriend and I happened to know some, and thus happened to know the answer, and thus, we won a free dvd before the official release.
