I still got my job!
The dept. boss came back from vacation today and had a big talk with my manager about all sorts of things... when my manager came back to the lab, she asked me: "What do you think about working full-time again?" And of course I said I liked the idea.... It seems both of them preferred keeping me and decided to fire a guy that worked with me instead (!), cause of course I am awesome at what I do. I feel bad for him though, but at least I still got my job! I'm so fucking lucky, each time something like this is bound to happen, it always turns in my favor. I'm so cool, what do you expect?
