Really, I know you wouldn't mind me commenting and/or updating more, and I would certainly love to do just that. They're trying to kill me with work at this new job, though, and I have to get a handle on things, even if it means working thirteen-hour days all week. (The only day I didn't do that was Friday.)
But I know you'd be proud of me, because I do, in fact, have a life outside of work. I think I have more local friends here than I've ever had living anywhere else. But while that's not saying too much, it does mean I tend to go out at least once every weekend. My band is also a very huge deal -- in fact, of course I wish it was my life -- and we're doing really well right now and nearly ready for shows.
Anyway, this is getting a little long, and all of this info might be better suited for an email. But there's nothing here that I would mind being "public", and if long comments don't annoy you, then they don't bother me, either.
In any case, I should probably wrap this up and let you know that I haven't had a job as good as this one since 2003. So, I have to break my back when they tell me to -- at least for right now -- because I can't afford to blow it. I need to finally be making some money and to have health insurance again, as it's been too long since I've last had those things.
But I'd love it if you'd remind me when I'm being too distant, though hopefully you won't have to do that because I'm going to try as hard as I can to stay close to the Punkins. (That means you, of course.)
You know, when I saw your first set, it so blew me away and you seemed so out of reach -- like a distant star -- that I never imagined in a million years that I could ever have you as a friend on here. But now that we are friends, the warmth I feel from knowing that we have this mutual caring is indefinably great, and I feel a wonderful comfort when I think of you.
And I think of you often.

For those that don't know - Gala takes place each year in Toronto and is something put together by members for all members and SGs to meet and have fun. The event is a closed event to the public. You may only get into the event if you're on the guest list. Each year we have members and SGs from all over North America travel to Toronto and partake in all the Gala events.
This year, we've got an amazing venue lined up (Stone's Place - the world's largest Rolling Stones memorabilia bar) and we've also lined up some awesome entertainment and finally great rates at The Drake Hotel (a stones throw away from the venue) for people coming from out of town.
Right now, it's March and our guest list is nearly full. We only have 65 spots left and we're messaging all the girls in the SG Canada East area to remind them if they would like to come out - to sign up fast!!

I'd agree with you though, season 2 is definitely superior to season 1, and if Dave was starting to lose his marbles a little I wouldn't be surprised if season 3 is a bit lacking as well. Even the end of season 2 started to decline, I thought. Less funny, more political.
