Been down in the basement mudding and taping the sheetrock. It's more fun than laughing. Supposed to be getting a phone call from an agency in the next few days. We pitched to them but I didn't think it went that good at all. He asked me to tell him about myself. Did I take any classes? How long have I been writing? Have I...

Back from the trip. Busy week. And most of the folks in LA drive out of their damn minds. I'm gonna need an adrenal gland transplant.
The pitches went well. Got to pitch 14 times. Four were very interested. Two or three were a waste of time. The rest were somewhere in between. But it was fun. Got to yap with some fellow aspiring screenwriters....

4 out of 14 is very impressive. Interested to know if your pitches were all the same and what did they ask and what didn't they ask. Did the old man go in with you and if so, did he break out a can o' whoop ass. Did they validate your parking. Are you more inspired now. Too many questions I know.
Congrats on the trip. A cool little nugget ya got there as well.

saw " The Departed " tonite... have you seen it yet... considering it was martin scorcese, i was a little disappointed... character development was poor and not a real " southie " vibe except for a few accents... maybe i am just comparing it to mystic river and eastwood really knows how to tell a story... nicholson, martin sheen and even matt damon were pretty vanilla... i was surprised at leonardo dicaprio... he was really fuckin good... i haven't really ever seen any of his movies but he kicked some ass in this... later...
I'm off to LA tomorrow. Wednesday to Wednesday. I'm gonna try to make it an upbeat trip. Can't be my old moody self. I think it'll be a fruitful trip. But what the hell do I know. byebye
Watched football today. Little bit of work in the basement too. Dad and I talked for the first time about our gameplan for LA. Not my favorite subject. He's a little nervous about the interviews. I can understand. But I'm not nervous about it at all. I just don't want to dress up or get my hair cut. Not that I'm a hippy or something....

Dad and Mom flew in last night. We were down in the basement all day today. Putting up sheet rock and mudding and all that jazz. It snowed last night too. High of around 39 today. Whistling wind. Fun stuff. I've got an ear ache and a sore throat. I think big brother Mike gave it to me.
I made Snickers piddle today. I got...

It's awesome you have interviews all lined up. Here I thought you were just talkin shit all this time like me.
Your attitude is right on. It's them who are searching if not begging for a decent piece of material, at least based on the latest releases. Might I suggest contacting Matt Damon also as I haven't heard much lately about that Project Greenlight deal so maybe he would have a read.
does the baby mean you are a dakota man the whole winter...
if so, you might need more dogs....
goes without saying I wish you the best of luck my brother....

Making good progress on the boston movie. Actually heard from my agent the other day. They sent an email wondering why they haven't heard from me. I'm supposed to be cutting my first movie down to size for them. But I'm not gonna do that. Not without a good reason. I can't help it if it bloats when you change formats. It's within the limits...

I'm taking a painting class. You have to take a certain number of classes your senior year and I figured it would be healthy. I love it.
I work part time as an Immigration paralegal (was full time until I went back to school). Another thing I'm doing to keep myself sane. The job reminds me that I have value as a human being in the real world outside of that stupid college.
The college I go to makes me crazy.

Worked all day on the movie. Not counting falling asleep on the floor for an hour.
Daisy and Snickers climb into bed with me every morning. So I don't get too much sleep. It's been cold lately and those short-haired rascals love my body heat. I don't mind one bit. They're sweet little dogs.

i am a little upset at the false advert at the beginning of this blog... i was beginning to hear the porno guitar til i saw they were dogs... my question is why do the dogs have cheap stripper names... that is quite a lot of activity in that household...

Sarah's mom and grandma are here. Drove all the way up from Arizona. Brought along their weiner dogs. Snickers and Daisy. They're nice folks. Very high energy. The mom talks a whole lot. The grandma is sort of quiet. She's more my speed to tell you the truth. Unless I get a shitload of sugar into my system. Speaking of which...

Sarah's gonna have the sweet, little baby any day now. Mike's happy. And I'm happy too. It'll be awesome. Sarah's mom and grandma are driving up this coming Monday. We'll get to bond together.
And we'll all get to feed and change and hold the baby. I can sing Dylan tunes to him as a lullaby. I've been helping Mike and Sarah by simulating all...

Watched "Paint Your Wagon" tonight with Mike and Sarah (his wife). We couldn't help laughing when Clint Eastwood belted out those songs. It was fun. I came across "Tommy" on TV tonight too. Mike threatened to throw a beating on me if I didn't change it. So I had some fun with that. Changing it back and forth and cackling like a hen. He did...
