Worked all day on the movie. Not counting falling asleep on the floor for an hour. Daisy and Snickers climb into bed with me every morning. So I don't get too much sleep. It's been cold lately and those short-haired rascals love my body heat. I don't mind one bit. They're sweet little dogs.

I've bonded a little bit with Sarah's mom and grandma. The grandma is pretty quiet most of the time. I've talked to her one on one a few times. Mostly in the car. And mostly about death. Yeah. I know. That's not good. I've gotta make an effort to keep things upbeat and happy for her.

The mom and I have talked a whole lot. She's kind of a blabbermouth. High on life I suppose. She's accepted me as one of the family and she joins in when the others tease me. It's funny. And I laugh louder than anyone. Then I cry myself to sleep.

We're having a good time. But everyone's waiting for Sarah to have the baby already. I don't know what the hold-up is. Get it over with for god's sake. Nah. It'll be so much fun to have the little shit around. He's sleeping in their room after all. Sarah's sister and dad are gonna be here soon. And my parents too. And maybe even Sambo and the Mookster. One big happy family.

I gotta throw some jackal rope and drag my ass to bed. Sleeping on the floor like a dog. Or sleeping on the floor with the dogs. Whatever.
