The wind is howling outside. That's a good thing. My brother and I wrestled around on the floor today. He said I hurt his back. We played football in the backyard yesterday. It was truly pathetic. We tackle like old women. I don't remember it hurting so much. We're getting old. We're a couple of pussies.

I just found out that I'll be returning home sooner than planned. My brother's got a training thinger down in Alabama. They're gonna drop me off on their way down there. And then pick me back up when they're done. That's fine with me. I'll get to visit with little bro in Tennessee. We had such good times in the months before I left...

I congratulated him every time he gained a new level on warcraft.
We'd get up and shake our asses every time he played more than 10 hours of warcraft in a day.
I'd repeat everything three or four times because he was too caught up in warcraft to pay attention.
I'd fall asleep to the sweet sound of swords hitting shields and screaming goblins or soprano shrieking skeletons or whatever.

I do miss the Sundrops. He'd bring me back a coke when he got home every now and then. That was good.

I didn't restock my Barqs on the last trip to the grocery store. I'd been abusing rootbeer lately. I was sick of seeing the shame in the eyes of my loved ones. So I quit. Yeah that's right. It wasn't easy, folks. I suffered through the withdrawal. I got the headaches. The night sweats. The athlete's foot. The vertigo. The furry tongue. The junior high mustache. The jitters. Fuck me in the heart. I don't know how I made it through. Well, I've gotta get back to brainstorming on the pain in my ass boston mob movie. Something's not working in the plot but I've gotta bull through it anyway. Because I'm a dumbshit. I should know better than to nail down any scenes before the plot is breathing.
