Today was a good day. My brother had to get up at four in the morning because he was flying. He's always in a good mood when he gets to fly. I spent the day working on the movie. I've got about 90% of the plot nailed down. When my brother got home we put up another wall in the basement. Then we went to dinner with an old academy friend of his and his wife. She was strange in a good way. Seems like she has an interesting family. I actually opened up and laughed and joked around with everybody. She gave me a hug after we all walked to our cars. It made my day. Yep. I'm a sad little man. I'll tell you that much. But I laughed a lot today and had a good time. And my brother's wife bought me a cherry gum ball. She's a sweetheart. I've gotta get to work. The house is quiet and it's nice and cool outside.
