I just fell asleep working on the boston pig. It's coming together alright. My dad's helping me long distance.
For some reason I was just thinking about an animal encounter I had right before I left Tennessee. I was out back, picking up sticks, when I heard an animal in the bushes. I was hoping it wasn't Jake.
Next thing I know a little bitty groundhog comes strolling up to me. Tiny little bastard. But it sure was cute. He wasn't any bigger than a minute. Maybe 7 inches long. He was eating grass. I offered him two or three sprigs. He didn't want them. Then I found one he wanted and he ate it out of my hand. He used his front paws like a squirrel. It was adorable...in a macho, mountainman kind of way.
Anyway. It made me smile. Even though the little critter was a tad gamey. He stayed with me for a few minutes before he moved along.
I've got to get back to the boston movie. I've been making progress. I've just gotta keep my sorry ass awake.
