I'm working on a mother's day card. I'm getting awful teary-eyed and mushy over it. My mom is a sweetheart, though.

My dad and mom have moved around a lot in the past few years. And during one of the moves, one of my childhood drawings was misplaced. My mom blames herself. She broke into tears when she told me about it. She said she always kept it under the glass of their bedside table. Now she can't find it.

She's got a drawer full of old drawings and whatnot. But I reckon this little rabbit drawing I did was special to her. The rabbit was crying. She says that I was sad all the time when I was a kid. Not much has changed.

So I'm gonna recreate the bunny drawing to the best of my ability. It shouldn't be too hard. Bunnies are my specialty.

Maybe I can do a family portrait as bunnies. I'll need to pilfer some aluminum foil to put braces on my little brother's yap. Yep. That'll be funny.
