I saw two buzzards out near the pond the other day. I couldn't get too close before they flew off and it started to rain. I had a dream about buzzards last night. Buzzards and homemade sorbet. I don't know.

I've been trying like heckfire to get a good picture of a bluebird. But they're as restless as I am.

I find it hard to concentrate when it's just perfect outside. Oh well. I can't do much anyway. I'm still sore from running the other night. Yep. I'm a great big wussy.

There's a mockingbird outside my window. I heard one shrieking like a hawk once. Here's a little song I picked up when I ventured up over a thousand feet. I hope y'all enjoy it.

I don't think the mockingbird knew what he was doing. He would've been in a world of hurt if a hawk was lured in for a closer look and found his spindly ass singing.
