I wish the venue was a bit bigger, but it's certainly a nice place, that's for sure. I walked in and my jaw dropped... I wanted to make a nest and live in this place forever!
Im happy with the turn-out... I think we had almost 60 people. For an extreamly small venue in Oakland on a Wednesday night on top of it being the clubs -FIRST- night... I certainly can't complain
And It's not like we were aiming for this HUGE club... just something to look forward to once a month.. good music, good friends.. and for those that drink - strong drinks/cheap prices... though, if you get exactly what you order... that's a different story...
Work is... work. I'm getting burnt out on the place.. though I love my co-workers (albiet 2 or 3 of them..) and LOVE working with books... the politics of retail just suck.. I need to make more $... i'm overqualified.. but this is all that's avaliable... grrr..
