Today as I was driving to work... you see, i've developed recently this habbit of not following people too closely. Therefore, driving on city streets, i'm probably going a few miles under some people... but not drastically and definately not within reasonable bounds.

So this guy speeds up from behind me to my passenger side... it being hot out.. both windows are down and he looks in and yells:
"Gee.. can you drive any slower?!?" Immidiately after saying that, he rear ends someone. I circle back around for the pure sake of being able to stop next to him and say "HA HAAAAA!!!!!" really loudly...

asshole! that's what ya get!

And thus, i am highly satisfied!

I question fate all the time... how things happen the way they do. For instance.. driving the other night in the city with a friend in the passenger seat... a homeless guy waltzes out to cross the street on MY green... of course, I stop... as he's crossing into the street, a huge SUV runs a red light in the direction he's crossing. You have to ask yourself... if that bum didn't proceed without a care in the world as he did... would me and my passenger be alive? Would that SUV that was speeding through a red light have plumeted us...??? And, after I realise what happend, looking back down the street, there was no longer that bum to be seen... several others of course.. but not that one. hrmm...

got brakes checked today. I need to replace the master cynlinder. It's ok for now... but only 2 brakes are functioning to their full potential. They were bled and it gave me a little more gut on the brake pedal and they aren't so soft anymore. Also, some belt is cracked... all will be fixed after next paycheck. yay, i'll have a happy car!

I stubbed my toe at work. really hard... it still hurts.
