SPIN THIS, was quite enjoyable. The venue is super swanky cute! The music is really good! I realllly think more people should go! It's only the first Tuesday each month... Drinks are decent and cheap.. they have $1 mystery shots. I got two and they were pineapple and something... 2 and I had a really good buzz going which was all I really wanted.
Got to chill a bit with Christy Anne, who is possibly one of the sweetest girls ever! Kerry showed up and it's funny, we realise that we'll both go to the most obscure hole in the wall events and ALWAYS run into eachother.
I saw Barret tonight for the first time since we stopped "dateing" or whatever you wanted to call what we had... At first he didn't say much to me. Almost avoided me it felt like, then all of the sudden 20 mins later he comes and plops down in a chair next to me and we just chatted away. I admit I was a little worried about how I was going to react because I knew I'd run into him... but I fared OK. He looked the same, he smelled the same (good, almost intoxicatingly good). His eyes were still like pools to drown in... He's something to look at and sigh and go "that was certainly one of those too good to be true kinds of things..." oh well... At least I know I'm ok around him and can be his friend and stuff... we're supposed to hang sometime in the future and do music stuffs...
Anyhow.. other than that.. it was fun! Music was great... a *tiny* bit of Psy, electro, idm, powernoise, break-beat, drum & bass... good dark electronic mix.. the DJ's were all wonderful!
And now to other things... Shawn is on my shit list.
It's one thing to be a friend that's busy and can never hang out, it's one thing to all of the sudden not be able to make it places.. things happen, however... it's another thing when you just don't show up and don't even call.
It makes me one of two or both things:
1. Get fairly upset because I sit around waiting for you.
2. Worry, hopeing that you're ok.. etc etc.
For reference: I HATE BEING FLAKED ON! (like most people)
Shawn just flat up didn't show up, didn't call. And it's not like he hasn't done this to people before. *growlie noises*
