In light of my recent bout of hating everything, I've become rather friendly here on SG. I haven't sent out friend requests in quite some time, and with all the love on the boards lately, I just had to.
I saw my man monday and thursday. we usually see each other every other day. well he has his daughter all week next week, so we decided we wouldn't see each other that much (cept for wednesday, my day off, we're going to the zoo), so he said he'd come over tonight. but he didn not. and he did not call, and I called and left a message, no return. which makes me wonder...
A) he left his phone in his car
B) he picked up his daughter early
C) he's out drinking at his dads bar
1. he's going to break his hand again
2. he's going to get arrested again
D) he's been in an accident
*sigh* now I remember why I never missed dating. all this worrying crap.
anyways, we had a plan to go to some place in nevada called Laughlin (sp?) this weekend with his cousins. well his cousin never called him back, so it was just going to be us. well my friend from back home came to town this weekend, so I told him I couldn't go, as I wouldn't see said friends for at least another year. he's fine with it, says he'll just go to his grandmother's in laughlin. well tonight turns out my friend isn't going to be in this area, which makes me fucking angry as hell. so I called my guy and left him a message saying if he still wanted I could go with. NO CALL BACK YET. which means all this weekend I am alone. no boyfriend, no roomate (out on vacation). I know NO ONE here. what am I to do?
things like this really make me sad. I'm so homesick, I used to have friends.
At work there's this thing that if you take more than 70 calls in one day you get a little star (with ur name and the date and how many calls you took) to put on your cubicle. also receiving a star is the highest call taker for each day. Well monday, I received my first star
monday is the busiest and most stressful day, and I was the highest call taker at 69. now I've been taking calls by myself for about 2 weeks. around this time most people would be taking about 35-40 calls. my boss loves me. she told me today "by the way, you are doing an EXCELLENT job!" I love it when that happens. I really strive to do the best at my job.
in other news, I sent out letters to day to a couple people in the pen pals group. if you join the group, you'll get letters too
