drawing up your own tattoo..

if you have the artistic ability do you find that weird to tattoo your own work? what are your comments on the matter?

I want to draw up my own tattoo because I feel that it will be easier to show on paper what I want rather than explain it to an artist.

I suck at drawing, but I'll still try to sketch out what I want.  It never gets tattooed exactly the way I draw it, but it gives the artist a good idea of what I want, which then gets in proved with their creativity, experience and artistic ability.

I think that this is actually the only way to really get the tattoo you want. Even if you suck at drawing, you could work with the tattoo artist to create the perfect tattoo after your ideas. At least that's what I do. :)

I just put down my first deposit for my first set! One more month before I shoot. Also - I will become a hopeful in the next week or so, I just need to acquire another form of identification to send in to prove my identity. Everything is happening so soon! Stay tuned (:
