A little sensitive about Iron Maiden, huh? They're far from the worst thing, but certainly not relevant enough to be headlining Ozzfest....I mean, they had Judas Priest last year, and they follow it up with a Priest imitator? Lame. They're far from "best" or even "significant".

Priest formed before 71 and cut their first album around that time.

Sorry mate, I just can't call them "better"-they both do the horrid fantasy writing, but at least Priest grew out of it and never took it in the first person; their bassist knows more than 2 notes; etc.....Iron Maiden follows the same bland formula for every song. LOVE Bruce's solo work, but Maiden.....meh. Following Priest's lead, and in the 80's noone should have been following that lead.
