pudding

christmas was okay i guess. i doesn't really feel like christmas here, all the crackling fireplace and snow imagery is pretty much lost on southern california. the cats look super handsome in their matching collars that say thing 1 and thing 2 and their name and my phone number. they are so rotten. i found out that to cats a three dollar drugstore eye shadow makes just as good of a toy as anything you can buy for them at petco. bastards. the food was excellent and i made yeast rolls for the first time in my life without assistance. they were little fluffy clouds of love and tastiness. joe made the vegetable side dishes, oven roasted potatoes and glazed carrots which turned out lovely. he also called his family and informed them that we would be getting a divorce. as far as i am concerned 2006 was a rebuilding year. the whole damn thing was just prep for 2007 which has the potential to be something awesome. maybe the new year will be happier and healthier than the last, no? i have yet to come up with new years resolutions but when i do i will post them so everyone can keep track as i stumble toward them in 2007. i act as if someone out there is actually keeping score. yikes. move along now kids, nothing to see here...
