Plastic modeling clay... who'd've thought it would work out so well. I love this stuff. For the most part. I can work it just like clay, additive and subtractive processes, coil method, paddling, etc. but it's not nearly as messy as clay nor do I have to take quite as much care with it; keeping it wet all that. If I need it to be stiff I simply stick it into the fridge or freezer. It doesn't dry out my hands like clay does. The reclaimation process isn't nearly as involved. And it's cheap. More or less. Sadly I can't build very large with ease (although that's okay for my current sculpture projects) and it's a bit harder to smoth out. But not much. So, yay: plastilina.

In related news, my art projects are progressing very nicely although my web site is proceeding miserably.
