New Orleans Police are seeking the public's help in locating an Australian tourist who has been missing since Saturday after he headed out to party with some people he met at Jazz Fest.
Alex Beddows, 32, was last seen leaving the Algiers Ferry Terminal on Patterson Street with a woman, and two men he met while at the festival, according to police. Beddows rode the ferry over with the group, and leaving his father to catch the Gretna Ferry on Canal Street at about 9 p.m.
Police have spoken to several bartenders in the area, and the last place Beddows may have been seen is at the Old Pointe Bar near the intersection of Olivier Street and Patterson Street. A bartender there said he may have seen Beddows lying on the ground outside the bar at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday, according to police.

Alex is now known to have been at Louie's Corner Bar (500 Elmira St. Algier's Point, New Orleans) on Saturday May 7 to at least around midnight that night. If anyone was in that bar that night or has any further information, please contact his sister on anna.beddows@gmail.com.
