Hmm. I'd categorize Ani's playing as inventive. She keeps it interesting, but rarely do I listen to one of her songs for the musical appeal; largely her lyrics are the draw for me. I do agree that she often gets rejected out of hand for the things she says and stands for, but I also think a lot of times people give her a free ride for the same things.
