so here i am, in austin texas, visiting my mom. at first i was really pissed because i didn't want to go anywhere or do anything during my vacation. i didn't even want to go to the grocery store, let alone fly halfway across the country. but now that i'm here, i am really glad i came. we went to waterloo records yesterday and i got many great albums, and then we found this awesome comic shop in the mall nearby and i loaded up on various titles. we saw the austin ice bats minor league hockey game last night (an exciting, come-from-behind 4-3 win!) and i think my mom wants to take me to a college basketball game tonight. the only thing i don't like is that house of flying daggers is not playing anywhere around here and i was really hot to see that one. i guess i'll just have to wait till i get home, which will be tomorrow. enjoy the rest of your day everyone!
