it's friday. big fuckin deal. i still have to work tomorrow. i have no hot dates to go on. i have no friends to hang out with. loveline isn't on. it's not payday. why is it that people like fridays so much? maybe it's cause they don't have to work saturdays. those people can just go off somewhere and leave me alone. i'll be sweating it out in the warehouse with no a/c, in my dark blue polyester uniform, answering customers dumb-ass questions, and generally going into "frantic" mode for the majority of the day. i'm so excited. TGIF.

Hmm. I'd categorize Ani's playing as inventive. She keeps it interesting, but rarely do I listen to one of her songs for the musical appeal; largely her lyrics are the draw for me. I do agree that she often gets rejected out of hand for the things she says and stands for, but I also think a lot of times people give her a free ride for the same things. It's just one of those strange things, I suppose.
