Otep tweeted earlier about how one of her songs is probably going to enrage the Catholic church, which I personally cannot wait to hear, but it also reminded me of a quick story from a few years ago.

Since it's almost 2am, fuck it let's make it a quick story time.

So believe it or not I used to go to Catholic school till the 5th grade. I'll admit it even that young I was probably a little too observant to fully accept the Catholic school teachings at face value and I probably asked a few questions the nuns weren't happy with.

Cut to a few years ago when I was still married and living in Vegas. If I remember right, my ex-wife's grandfather had just died and we were about to come back to So. Cal. for the weekend. So she called up my old catholic school to find out about masses since we'd be near by. I guess at some point she mentioned I used to go there and my name. She said without hesitation they said they remember me quite well. I hadn't been there in almost 20 years! I know I wasn't an angel but I didn't think I was the devil incarnate either. haha

So now I'm wondering what the fuck did I do back then and immediately call up one of my friends I grew up with that went to the same school. Told her if they remember me, they sure as hell probably remember her too. For all we know they have our pictures up on some Most Wanted board in the office.

Possibly even some warnings to call for immediate back up if found and not to try to bless us alone. Maybe some catholic school bounty hunters sharpening their crucifixes for the two that continue to get away. It does give me a good laugh.
