I walked through the canyon with Zak yesterday.
Everywhere I looked there was life blooming and growing. Its a really great place to do some thinking about life. When ever I get fed up with daily life in the OC I come here.Even though its really only 10 minutes from my house once your in the canyon the shallowness of OC civilization disappears and all you can see for miles are green mountains and foothills. Me and My furry companion walked uphill for an hour and stopped at a cliff to catch the sunset.
On the way back down we came across two horseback riders, one of which had been thrown from his horse and was laying on the ground with a possible broken leg. His friend was trying to get help but the old cowboy wouldnt hear of it. It was hard to convince him just to look at his leg! It turns out that it wasnt broken but he still couldnt walk or get on his horse and he still refused to let anyone get help for him! So a comprimise was made that involved me practically carrying him down the rest to the way.(his friend had to control both horses and my dog) After he got down to the road he insisted that we help him get back on his horse. Him and his friend then rode off into the darkness leaving me a little confused on what the hell just happen.
